bagging bagels. The feed
mechanism consists of a shaker table, laning guides, drop
chute, and rotary indexer. The unit deposits counted and stacked
bagels into a Formost bagger bucket infeed conveyor. The system
aligns the metered bagels into lanes for feeding to the starwheel
indexer. The starwheel positively indexes the bagels into an
intermittent motion bucket conveyor which transfers the bagels to
the bagger. Transfer paddles gently push the product through the
openers and into the bag, creating a tight bag for best appearance.
